I recently got the Animatrix in HD and I watched through it again. I was thinking, doesn't it seem surprising that they never really released the Animatrix in theaters? I mean, at least in my opinion the Animatrix is by far superior to the second and third movies in the trilogy. The Animatrix also has many shorts that could be expanded upon to create more story. For example, I think that Cis from "Program" could be an interesting character. |

For a long time rumors were going around about a "The Hobbit" movie, based on JRR Tolkien's book. First it was that Peter Jackson would be doing it, then he wasn't so it sounded like it was dumped. Now, officially, Guillermo del Toro will be directing 2 films based off of the Lord of the Rings predecessor. |
