A few nights ago myself and Hellfire were playing with HfG Clan and we decided to spend a few rounds spamming classes. It was pretty epic and definitely gave us a few good laughs. Check them out at the BoS Youtube Channel.

Well the final match just took place between coL and Pandemic for the ESEA Season 2 Open division. Pretty epic game with Pandemic taking the first match 5-3 on Granary. coL came back in Badlands and pulled a win scoring 5 points, with Pandemic taking 4. The final match was GPit. Pandemic took the first half with an astonishingly long final capture of 9 minutes. coL took the second half with decent speed tying up the game. In overtime the two teams struggled to get the winning point, but Pandemic set a quick capture and coL just wasn't fast enough to pull it back.

w00t! L4D is finally getting a decent content patch which is going to add Survival Mode. This new mode sets your team in a locked down area and spawns waves of infected. As the horde and specials continue rampaging through the level they will open up new rooms that have items and weapons. Apparently this new mode is going to be very difficult and Valve expects short games of massive epic pwnage. awesome! Check the link below for all the details:

The Winter LAN has started!

With a mixture of laziness and a general interest in being part of a clan, I've decided to start an official boxofspoons clan. The 4 new CoD4 maps are out now! They are: China Town, Broadcast, Creek and Killhouse. China Town and Broadcast have the makings of two great urban settings. Players interested in squad tactics will probably like them a lot. Creek is huge and is shaped like a donut. Snipers and huge battles will probably favor that one. Killhouse is another Shipment type level. It's small and fast paced. I did snipers only on it a few minutes ago and you can actually peg quite a few people.

BoS retro LAN tentative date is set for this weekend! Plan on installing and playing games like Quake 3, UT2004, Urban Terror, and Rise of Nations. The location is still unknown, but most likely it will be in Kova's LAN den. :)

Judge Tunis finally got though all of the paperwork and recommended Thompson as guilty of 27 or 31 misconduct charges. What hasn't been said yet is what will come of the charges, there will be a hearing for any possible punishments later on. Meanwhile, he has filed paperwork to slow things down
