6 modules updated. The one thing you will notice is that per user post counts are now back in the forums. If you recall, this particular module used to cause issues for some users. The problem has supposedly been fixed, but if you run into any trouble be sure to let an admin know.

Updated the website. Everything went smoothly and there shouldn't be any issues.

Well the final match just took place between coL and Pandemic for the ESEA Season 2 Open division. Pretty epic game with Pandemic taking the first match 5-3 on Granary. coL came back in Badlands and pulled a win scoring 5 points, with Pandemic taking 4. The final match was GPit. Pandemic took the first half with an astonishingly long final capture of 9 minutes. coL took the second half with decent speed tying up the game. In overtime the two teams struggled to get the winning point, but Pandemic set a quick capture and coL just wasn't fast enough to pull it back.

w00t! L4D is finally getting a decent content patch which is going to add Survival Mode. This new mode sets your team in a locked down area and spawns waves of infected. As the horde and specials continue rampaging through the level they will open up new rooms that have items and weapons. Apparently this new mode is going to be very difficult and Valve expects short games of massive epic pwnage. awesome! Check the link below for all the details:

I finally got around to updating the forum module. Things look a bit different, and probably will change in the near future.

Performed several updates, let me know if anything goes bad.

Some of you were mentioning errors appearing on pages. Sounds like it fixed itself, but be sure to let me know if you get something like that. From what I can gather one of the modules was causing problems, its not a very crucial module so if worse come to worse I can disable it if causes issues.

Updated the site's base version along with one module, let me know if anything is broken. This time I remembered to check that the image galleries are OK.

One thing I changed that might matter to people:
www.boxofspoons.net now transparently redirects to boxofspoons.net (so it drops the www). This prevents the wierdness that we witnessed where certain pages required an additional logon. It also fixes the steam status updater. You may want to update your bookmarks, if not it will just redirect. If you have been using www. then you will be asked to login the first time.
